I just want to ask to fellow belk associates if this is happening to you. Are you in a store that has several people who only have to run a register or sit at a door while you are working out freight, unboxing freight, recovering, setting sales, ringing on a register, putting up covid go backs, doing fullfillment and anything else management asks of you. When I am at the door as a greeter I'm doing tasks the whole time. It is so annoying!

Right now every associate is doing everything, fulfillment, freight, greeter, register, recovery, everything! No one is doing just one job anymore. Even the managers..
I promise you door, register, or truck we all have our frustrations. They wantban amazing customer experience but management literally complains when you go above and beyond for a customer outside of your current role. Just clock in, do what you're assigned to do that day, and clock out at the end. Hell, we're not getting raises anyway so don't stress yourself.

You sound pretty sad yourself. At least I have an opinion that's not telling people what to do and how to feel. If you said it it must be true. Just another issue to deal with concerning belk. Everybody knows everything about the other persons job and does not hesitate to tell them what to do. You know nothing about me.

Maybe that person that is on the door is doing the best they can and has talked with their manager
about their limits. Or here's a thought. You could mind your own business and worry about your own job. In my store most of the managers are so unprofessional and selfish that they whisper to coworkers about other coworkers at he morning meeting. So it comes down to we all look at things in our own perspective.
