Yes, start tomorrow and end by Thur/Fri (since the 15th or 16th is the start of a new pay period...)

I just heard from a fairly reliable source that the layoffs for PW start tomorrow morning.

While accounts are switched to begin with *T when employees leave the company, it’s a trivial and probably routine matter to remove them from the global address book so you can’t search for them. I’ve seen that happen for many years when people retire or move on. Any search for *T in Outlook is not a reliable indicator of the number of people who recently left the company.

What does search *T would pull? How would that show the number of people laid off?

Advanced Find in the Address Book. Search for *T as the Display name.

How do you check for the “t”

All I can say is that I only see one "*T" prefixed address in the P&W address list in Outlook. Anybody with Outlook can check this. Assuming that's an accurate way to gauge their progress, I wouldn't be surprised to hear it's going to happen en masse (or at least, begin) on Tuesday.
