When will the ELT realize that putting profits above all else is what's dooming this company? Yes, profits are extremely important, but so are employees. Without them, the company doesn't exist. And if employees are not at least content, the company is not nearly as productive as it could be.
Those on top are destroying PepsiCo with their profit-guided tunnel vision.

I wouldn't necessairly agree that profits are number one. I know a few mid-level managers who have said they just want to keep their jobs. They want to avoid risk as much as possible and not subject themselves to a situation where they could be called out for fumbling someting. So they take a page from the maifa and insulate themselves from the day-to-day by having loyal go-between bureaucrats to deliver and execute their directives. The result is that people report to a distant, uninterested leader who's only priority is continuing to draw a paycheck.
It’s a large corporation and public company. Their job is to get more done with less and they’ll do it even if it means putting your family out on the street.

The problem is that the powers that be are only looking for immediate gain for themselves and see what they can siphon off from the company and once they have bled the company dry move on to the next host(company). They have zero care, concern or sympathy for those who helped build this company to the global powerhouse it WAS. They left us and continue to leave us by the side of the road. Those of us who were already cast off think and pray for you who remain. Know there is a better life after Pepsi. Good luck to all!!
