It s—s that there is so little information available on what's going with the company right now and what are the plans for the future. Personally, I'd rather have transparent management who were honest with us even if that meant knowing I'm slated for layoffs than what we have right now - complete silence. Keeping us in the dark is the cowardly way.

I am rotflmao that the words "transparent management who [are] honest" appear in the same sentence as Accenture. Bless you, original poster, and know that your best days lie ahead – at another employer.
Leaving Accenture was the happiest day of my professional life. And I was a CL7. The future is never bright for an Accenture employee. I can't even imagine under current circumstances. Start that job hunt and go somewhere with integrity. Your mind, body, family, spirit deserve better.
Accenture is slave labor. Most operate out of fear. I spent over a decade there and got tossed out like a piece of garbage. I never had a poor review until my Lead/CC this year, who did not like me or represent me well. Accenture plays favorites. It is a very corrupt workplace. Conduct Counts is a joke and only done so they can CYA.
Why would Accenture care about your livelihood? You are a wage slave.
If you think you will get laidoff, find a new job before it happens. They will never tell you, hey, we plan to fire you in 3 months. They will keep you until they don't need you anymore.
Not cowardly - more like strategic. They find where they think they should be $$ and slash accordingly.
