Thread regarding Bass Pro Shops layoffs

Basspro in macon

I thought a person had to be employed 90 days before they could apply for another job in the basspro stores as we have had 2 jobs open and people who have been at Bass Pro a while put in for them and they were giving to people who have not been here 90 days. How f—ed up is that

Polices, we have them but on certain people, others can do as they want. Been at this store awhile and I have seen so much c-ap it makes me sick. They fire good working people to just having 2 department managers that have to run all the departments, one they hired to run the front end and receving but we don't ever see him almost like he comes in when he wants. And then the manager of the store is such a d–k head that no one likes him, he has came in making changes from the first day, and the other one talks to some of us like we are dogs. Wishing another job will come my way so I can get out, everyone else is looking as we are sick of stupid people.

It all depends on whose posterior you kiss, and that doesn't just apply to Macon, it's everywhere.

That is the policy. But who cares if the never ending list of HR and Managers don’t uphold it. Such a joke. Don’t know why we even have policies.
