Let me preface this by saying this isn’t one of those ‘just quit’ posts. In fact, it’s the opposite. We know this company doesn’t care about any of us. All it cares about is the bottom line. Anybody would be smart to look for a way out. But with the economy the way it is, if you want to quit on the spot, make sure you have at least 6 months of salary saved up. And if you plan to find other employment while working here, please ask questions when you are interviewed, look up job reviews so you can get a feel on what the company is like, and whatever you do don’t lose hope. Good luck to those who want to get out while they can!

I got a little over $6500 saved, Once I get up to $10,000 or higher I will quit, It's 3-4 months expenses saved if you are going to quit I recommend 6-9 months of salary saved altogether but since everyone is in a different financial situation and with bills and the covid craziness good luck with that.
If Walmart isn’t above the bottom line there isn’t a Walmart. Imagine running your own business like so many have throughout COVID. Now understand that so many who “promised to keep paying staff” quickly retreated and laid off/furloughed. People need to broaden their perspective. The victim mentality so common on this board makes it obvious people look at their own interests. Ironic.
I got out over a year ago now. I rarely think about my decades of service to WM. My health is 100% better. There is other companies that really do care and treat you with respect and dignity and WM isn’t one of them. You are not trapped!! Begin to look now,you will find something .DONT wait until they let you go its a lot harder scrambling and panicking.Start looking now (you are NOT safe,)who wants to live like that. Gods speed!!!!
