Kumbaya was funny but true. It's all about customer perception and not actual colleague safety. We have contest this month for the stores that customers rate the highest for "feeling safe while shopping". How about a contest for the store, district, or region with the least Covid cases, how about we stop sending people out to visit stores from around the country and requiring stores to buy gifts for them and purchase food to eat so we can all sit around without masks laughing, chewing, joking, dying.
I'm completely dead after that kumbya 😂 I haven't heard about this all-colleague business but I'm sure it will the usual thank-you-for-your-hard-work pablum
If it's going to be a kumbaya moment, perhaps the senior leaders doing the chat from their homes can use a a digital campfire background so all of us out in the stores will be able to feel warm and fuzzy about the possibility of catching the Coronus during holiday season since we refuse to allow stores to enforce mask requirements with our customers unlike other retailers.
