starting policy that we have to wear the tc51/52 earpiece? Starting in November all associates will be required to wear. It's for the customers, so they don't have to listen to pages, and all the bells and whistles of the BOPIS, Same Day Delivery noise.
We tried awhile ago to use earpieces, but it was more annoying .

Yes I agree the noise can be extremely annoying along with the phones ringing and customers requiring our attention. My store has 2 handheld scanners at FE: one for BOPIS/Same Day and one for curbside. As annoying as the noise is, it is the only way we can keep up with the BOPIS/Same Day and curbside. If we are really jammed up at CS and front end, a couple of my managers hearing the bells go off, will print off the reports and grab the items for us. Or grab the curbside and get it out to the customers. But at the end of the day, I am happy to come home to a quite house. It would be nice to have something that is effective getting our attention at a lower volume.
They need to fix the volume issue of the bells/whistle alarms for the CDS/Curbside & BOPIS. It is obnoxiously loud and it can’t be turned down. I spoke to someone in Support Center about it-they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. But until then, it remains LOUD. So until then, no earpiece for me. I need my hearing after the world of BBB.
Are people to share earpieces until the next layoff? Ewwww.........

Glasses. A mask. And now an earpiece. My ears hurt. Plus they do not fit for people w glasses. We need proper ear buds.
We don’t have enough tc51/52’s to go around for everyone to use. Front end has 2 hand held scanners, receiving has 3 hand held scanners and put away-replenishment has 3 hand held scanners. Tc51/52 are for managers, hard side, soft side and price changes which only counts as 5 tc51/52’s
