Per the check in from a week ago the layoffs have been postponed for 3 months. A colleague had told me about it so I went and reviewed the check in and he was correct. We will see what happens in 3 months.

Thank you for any of the ER that took, I will miss you all and respect you eternally for your sacrifice. I'm in the middle of a slow roll team change, so I should be safe, not retirement age, but not a spring chicken either. Hopefully we can get through this soon to be rough economy together. See y'all on the other side.

So I originally posted the LR was off for 3 months. It had come from a colleague of mine who I believe mis interpreted the last weekly check in we have. Spoke to my boss this morning via our 1 on 1. He had said our team mate was wrong. He for sure knows of leaders of teams who have received emails stating their will be impacts to their team or teams. Sorry for the bad info folks. One question I do have is when will upper leadership like sow cow Martinez and others get cut for horrible leadership ? These people could'nt lead a wet paper bag to drier weather in the summer. 14 years of subsequent layoffs. I mean 14 years. How can any company state Cisco is the place to work. Work life balance ? Really ? Every year you wonder if you need to look for a new job. You cant plan anything in your life financially. Its so sad. All upper leadership is good for is cashing in their stock so Cisco can buy it back and resend it out to the leaders responsible for our year over year decline.

I haven't heard the LRs have been delayed nor did I hear it on the last Check-In. My mgmt team refined their LR list last Friday, which was the deadline. Notices go out this Weds. Oct. 7.
Can I volunteer for it If I don't get the email on Wednesday??

Last checkin was Sep 22, and I was on it. They talk a lot about their whole new diversity money splurge, nothing about LR. Oh, and they thanks the ER people for their service.
Seriously? I cannot believe it.
The whole LR thing makes it sound as if there is a future to the products after LR. It is like they found few inefficiencies that are causing hiccups, removed them and then they go on to do amazing things. LRs give positive spin about the people and products that are left. That cant be farther from the truth. What if the entire product is a failure? What will they do with LRing few people here and there? Should not there be a clean up of the house?
