Please don’t work for Marathon Oil Corp. Do yourself and your family a favor. You will never have stability if you work there.

Stay away. Last November Marathon threw a huge Xmas Party at a hotel downtown and spared no expense. Made us employees feel special. Four months later over a third of the workforce was laid off. When I started in March 2019 the stock was at $18, a year later at $4. Nice job management
The OP just dropped some really horrible advice.
Good place for training and to get experience, they dont want anyone to stay too long anyway. Entry level employees cheaper and plentiful.
It says “potential employees”. It doesn’t say quit your job if you work there. Now that would be stupid to think it said that
I would say if Marathon is your only option than fine take the job. If you’re trying to choose between two offers go with the other.
Stupid post, in a market like this take what you can to pay the bills and get a better job once things pickup.
