So far I've seen people who have been with the company for decades and people who joined maybe a year or two ago laid off. I've also noticed that while some of our best employees are gone, so are some who I thought deserved to be let go a long time ago. There is no rhyme or reason to it. Everybody seems to be fair game.

And the layoffs are real as well. Just because one haven't seen anyone affected yet doesn't mean they aren't occurring and people are just "causing problem," which was the point.
My brother-in-law had Covid. Trust me it is real! He was so very sick. It is no joke. Just because something is not tangible does not mean it does not exist. keep washing your hands and being careful there is a real problem going on.
