WDI has started with layoffs today too. They are using rankings to determine who goes, we are still not 100% clear on how they are selecting people. Things are not transparent - we always had issues with transparency but this time is especially bad. Timing is bad and people are frustrated and anxious. I am sure they will spare managers even though we are so fat at the mgr level. Oh, well. I guess it can be worse.

They laid off based on team seniority not time with the company in quite a few instances. Total BS.
What do you mean you got "retired" not laid off? Did they give you a retirement package offer? And if so can I ask what it is?
I got "retired" after 15 years in March, during the early round of pandemic layoffs. Anyone else get retired, or just laid off?
