Is anyone else worried that Cisco could loose certifications with USA dod etc due to all the developers from China?
Not sure how long before green boxes are treated the same as Huawei

My BU used to do a lot of software development in China. But about 8-10 years ago, it pivoted to India and I haven’t had a discussion with Chinese DE for years.
R&d is coming out of China, IP theft etc issues
If anything China might make the code quality better.
There used to be a team that handled all the DoD work with employees and contractors that were sole U.S. citizens.
There's enough non-Chinese staff to ensure that nothing goes into our code that could allow China back doors into our stuff through code reviews.
I'd be more worried about the reverse situation where employees in China steal our proprietary code and give it to the Chinese government and/or Huawei.
Cisco boxes haven’t been green for years.
But it is the best development team in Cisco.
In term of software quality and Development speed, nothing from India branch can be mentioned.
