EOI is the term that Chevron uses for voluntarily raising your hand to be shown the door. "Expression of interest".

Currently, severance is 3 weeks per year of service (minimum 12 regardless of tenure), and maximum 52 weeks.

EOI is the opposite of a forced retirement. It's an Expression of Interest to voluntarily retire, i.e. you may get to retire with a severance vs participation in the Hunger Games.

DS and crew are out the door on Friday. Anyone going to miss them? Did they actually contribute anything positive to Noble? Let them all go down in history as failures.

Expression of interest in leaving the company kind of like forced retirement

I would imagine CVX will handing out a lot of packages in early November and then asking for EOIs by early December.
