Just heard this from an ASM friend that works in another store.
He wouldn’t give me any details other than people are not going to like what is said.
Anyone got any other information ?

Well, I pray for you all. I was going to work another 6 months, but when they started putting the sales pressure on about quotas, sales per hour, etc, my wife and I just hung it up. I lost maybe $75/month in Social Security.
Good luck to you all. I check in here and Reddit to see what stupidity they've come up with next.
some lowe's terminated the Fashion Bath Specialist recently
Haven’t heard anything like this in my store. In fact our DM just had us post an opening for a 3rd flooring specialist. That being said I was here when dept managers went away a few years ago and we literally hired 2 people to open positions a week before so who knows
A question for you -
I retired in May. I was in Pro Services for over 5 years working with home builders. Before Pro, I was top seller in my store in appliances.
What is being said in specialists meetings and morning meetings now you can't get appliances to sell? Are they going crazy to "sell sell sell" in other departments?
I can only image coming into the last quarter to keep sales up to keep the numbers up.
Good luck to you all....
Appliances is a complete and utter cluster.
Doubtful anything is happening at a national level, perhaps it's only at your store. Flooring has been doing well but major appliances are in a total free fall due to near total lack of inventory. Had an email filter down from corporate to DM to SM to us specialists that we can no longer sell into the negative on appliances. Store replenishment will not even put anything on order for us unless the servicing ADC has stock of that particular item. Order cancellations are rampant, ETA's of 2 to 5 months now the norm. May as well paint a large "L" on your forehead as that is exactly how you feel after working 40+ hours and having more than 70% of your customers taking a walk as you have nothing to sell them except c-ap they absolutely are unwilling to settle for. Add to all that the massive store reset which appears to be affecting about 1/3 of the store and has been dragging on for weeks and with no end in sight. Total sh– show. The stores in our district are looking more and more like poorly run Kmarts on their final week before closing. Let them fire me, it would be a welcome blessing at this point.
Flooring Specialists sell a considerable amount of installs and product. I certainly don’t see that happening. Home Decor Specialist is only in high volume stores, so I was curious as to why they eliminated the Plumbing Specialists and not Home Decor. I wouldn’t be surprised, at this point, what this company does next.
I know the flooring specialist position is soon to be gone along with decor. The Appliance specialists will be doing the special orders and installs decor and plumbing, millwork will be doing floorings.
Is your ASM friends name CNN?
no nothing of a MANDATORY MEETING
