Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

Gateshead covid

Office two meter rule enforced, plastic screens put up, one way systems, people working from home.

Shop floor three people to one machine for training under the order of management, bringing people back from the sick with the high likely hood they had covid. When the person in question should be self isolating for two weeks.

If we get a outbreak I will tell HSE everything.

If the shop floor dies they don’t have to pay out redundancies. Win win

Not only is furlough coming to an end, it’s also the roll of the dice for the last qtr to squeeze every penny to be invoiced to make up the numbers. Which i feel will be the nail in the coffin looking at the share price performance.

Does everyone have track and trace to monitor probable cases thus reducing risk within the facility ? TBH probably not thought of that, management too busy flicking their bean to think of human cost. Just keep cutting metal Perspex will safe us.
