Thread regarding Pratt and Whitney layoffs

2nd Stimulus Bill Approval = Delayed Layoffs?

Sounds like the 2nd Stimulus Bill will include airline relief, which currently expires Oct 1st.

Do you think a 2nd Stimulus Bill saves some Pratt jobs?

Government relief has a limit for executive compensation and a ban on stock buybacks so not shot they'd take it.

No relief for RTX, the money doesn't flow down to new aircraft and in turn new engines.

During a CNBC interview on the day of the UTC / Raytheon merger back in April, Greg Hayes made it perfectly clear that he would not seek out relief from the government.
