Honestly, is there one person here who thinks we'll go through the next 6 to 12 months without major layoffs? The entire industry is collapsing! And it's going to continue on that way for who knows how long. If half of us still have a job after the whole pandemic thing is finally over, I'll consider that a success.

4th quarter is coming. They want you there at the end of the year, instead of being with your family or you might be laid off. Lots of people sitting on vacation.
I wonder how many people that aren’t anywhere to be found in December, will actually show face this year because of the selective cuts...
If they sneak sleepy joe in to the office, military will be cut, and we will go into further lockdowns, so the commercial will be worse than it is now. I'd get out.

My plant just called back about 100 people in the last 2-3 months.
Including a dozen or so, salary.
Now here we are, getting an video of Slattery, vaguely telling us that they're gonna be cutting heads again. Not how many, not where or why, not what the focus is. He just wanted to be non-transparent about being transparent lol, right before the holidays, so we can all have panic attacks after our turkey :.D

If your site doesn't manufacture parts or do assembly for the military, I would expect more layoffs or at least no call backs this coming year. I could be wrong, but it looks that way since the commercial side of the business is not looking good.
"Lean" and "Diversity" will save us.
