Volume store 14 pallets a day tons of bopis and cdsorders..we are not stressed ..Stop blaming the company..

Were all receiving leads let go? Were any kept?

Its too much, I complained to DM and was told to deal with it. He said last year stores ran out of merchandise before Christmas. And this holiday season its not going to happen. But we need HELP!
IT issues a joke . Can't even begin where to start, but you all know its a problem from the front to the back of store.

Almost sounds like me. B volume store in a D volume building. Someone decided we can fit 14 pallets in receiving when we can only fit 10. Most of the time, the drive has to stand there for an hour while we cut down the pallets just so we can get every in. But we can't shut the dock or get anywhere with having to crawl or duck. Im the only receiver. No receiving associates. I havent been able to touch damages in weeks. Looks like a tornado went off. I've been having to spend 5 to 6 hours doing cds' since I'm the only one and the stupid system is slow as hell or crashes. There is no way in hell they would ever let me work over time. We don't have nearly enough staff so freight doesn't get done so no conveyances to put the freight I actually do receive. The extra pallets c-ap is awful. Half the pallets are stuff we don't even carry in our store. They said the removed us from the list to getting them. But then said they'd only bring them one day this week. They did it twice. I spend my entire shift contenolately throwing my keys down the compactor and walking out. I cope by drinking when I get home.

No matter what store you work in for this company , you are in a sh– storm!

I was in a closing store and have since been transferred to another store. At the closing store we had a truck show up with 14 pallets. I had to point out to the driver that the paperwork showed it was to be redirected to a nearby store. I felt bad for the store getting it. I've wondered, is this in addition to your store's regular truck, or in place of it? Hang in there OP, my new store sounds just as crazy, and someone out there feels your pain.

Everyone is working hard. Sounds like this person just needs to know they are going through the same thing as other stores. Plus maybe some reassurance that things may get better after the holidays.

Seriously that's most retail right now that isn't Target or Walmart. As for my store everyone works. Never had to cancel, we avg about 18-25 pallets over 800 cartons a day. SM down to the cashier that works 1 day a week help out. We all glad we have a job but currently looking for better opportunities that isn't retail.
