I saw the company is doing seasonal hires. Anyone know if an employee who was laid off (not fired) can apply for those positions? I am also curious if anyone who was part of the layoffs back in the middle of the year has tried to apply. I’m just looking for something extra to go along with what I have now. Any information is much appreciated.

We are losing more people than we can replace. Why would anybody want to work here when they can get a job somewhere else with less headaches to deal with? The customers in my store are horrible.
We hired 28 seasonal employees....only 13 actually came to work. And since then we have lost another 3.
Yeah, our store has been telling us all of a sudden that prevailing local wage rates have been the reason why some of us will not get a raise.
You can try but they want people for CHEAP. Pay at my store for seasonal help is significantly lower than previous years.
