Quote volume and persistence. You should be submitting 5-7 job applications a day, having 1-2 interviews per week, and learning about 10 new resources a day (new connections, job boards, companies etc.). You gotta win each day!

It may take a minute to learn taleo, workday, and other systems but once your profile is created you can apply to many jobs fairly quickly.

You need to be following up with their HR recruiters. Connect with them via LinkedIn. Many organizations have virtual open houses as well.

Subscribe to LinkedIn Jobs for companies you want to pursue and check out https://www.greatinsurancejobs.com/.

Remember when President Trump said we need to be careful of Sh!thole countries. Beware of sh!thole companies like Allstate. Right now you might be desperate to take the first thing. If you have to so be it but many industries are changing and be direct with their talent recruiters. Don’t be desperate they can smell it. There are many great places you can end up and keep perspective.
