I think many of us didn’t want to work for a large corporate entity. I know I didn’t. So when Xerox became more present in our day to day lives, that’s when things got worse for me. I loved working for my core because it was small, family owned, involved in the community, fully staffed with local people, had long-term employees and people were generally happy to be there. Xerox ruined all that. Even under Global, things were fine. Basically, when Carl Icahn got involved is when things went to ship, and it went bad quickly.

They bought GIS because GIS was PROFITABLE and initially left us alone. We were able to adapt to the local market and almost every core made money. X-rock started ruining all that a several years ago and have completely butchered us now. I'm resentful of that fact, but I go to work everyday and do the best job that I can (our customers deserve it) and will continue to do so until I have a new position. Am currently looking, but it's a challenge.
Agreed. Xerox’s interference has ruined many once-successful Cores. They broke something that didn’t need fixing.
True. Things were better when a Dixon was charged. Still think Xerox micromanaging has hurt them the most.
RK Dixon did ok a few years ago. But with the change in president, the heavy hand of Xerox and the outsourcing to HCL. they are in terrible shape.
Call the executives names, but I thought RKD did ok before all of this. If they left most of the cores alone, they may not be having issues other than the pandemic affecting businesses.
True. A lot of people left on their own accord at RK Dixon. It’s been poorly run for years now. While things might appear normal from the outside, from the inside, I can tell you it’s a mess. It’s a wonder they are still operating.
RK Dixon was hit hard but not by Xerox. Everyone there jumped ship. As a result, Xerox didn’t have to cut anyone. There’s hardly anyone left at RK Dixon.
You think Cores have been hit hard? Wait for the knockout punch....
I was always surprised RK Dixon wasn't hit hard. My guess is that they are one the last groups to be consolidated. I'm sure big changes are coming in the next few months.
The smaller cores that were absorbed are probably having issues and are forgotten
Who cares? Except for a few who can't let go of the past!!!
From reading this site, sounds as Lewan was hit hard. Mr. Copy too.
