Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

What happened to the Corporate Audit Staff?

Keep seeing on linked in that CAS was cancelled/sunset. Is that true? What are they replacing it with?

The real reason, whether they deny it or not, is the SEC investigation(s). A real corporate audit function (and one with integrity) would have detected the issues and reported on them properly. CAS was just a part of the machine.

They were removed like the cancerous growth they had become. Nothing lost!

The program was OK early on but it deteriorated with time.

This is a good move, we need a reset.

If it's been truly abolished then good riddance. They need to also do away with ITLP and DTLP c-ap.

The article says "The CAS program is a five-year plan for high-potential employees", High potential employees, what bull cra*. I have seen so many of them who can barely add two numbers. All they did was make powerpoint presentation and be in the good books of senior management and get promoted. Not saying ALL CAS were casholes, but 90% were. It is a very good decision as these CASholes made GE what it is today and then jumped ship like rats.

There isn't much left to rotate to anyway. Most of it has been sold.
