Does anyone know that if vendor merchandise is now discontinued & if we will be focusing on private brands. Also I heard macys is adding new private brand lines?

Thank you for the last reply. Yes i suspected outside vendors are cutting ties due to us having a 90 turn around to pay for orders] / who knows if weve already been late. I think their focus on private brands is to ake more noney, less middle men, wont have to shell $ out as fast as they do vendors?
They are doing it cause Ralphie Lauren and others don’t wanna be stuck with a unpaid bill from Dino dump. A lot of vendors are gonna pull out. Nike pulled out of i land boscov. They afraid the dept store death and bankruptcy will lead to unpaid merchandise which will greatly effect their own biz.
Does it matter?
Does it matter what brand is on a piece of junk apparel that no one wants to buy?
Macys private labels are a scheme to copy items from designers that were relevant back in the 90s.
