Xerox announced it's everyday toner program to ship non Xerox toner to customer. Well this just answered any questions from XBS cores about how Xerox will.support non Xerox supplies. Good luck customer care teams that are still left.

The Xerox everyday program is a complete joke. Not a commercial proposition and undoes all the work done by many in previous years saying that non-Xerox is ok. Now we have to say non-Xerox is ok and it’s everyday. The market place think we are a joke. And some id–t thinks we are going to get $25M this year from it.
Titles don’t really mean anything in XRX. I know D5’s calling themselves VP and E2’s as Director.
Makes sense. Why did each core need all those high salaries anyway to make decisions. Shouldn't they have been acting as one unit all along for consistency? A simple LinkedIn search and there are CEO's, CFO's, VP's, Heads of Finance, Controllers, Assistant Controllers, and a long slew of finance and other accountants FOR EACH CORE. Why? Seems pretty dumb to me. When Xerox bought the Cores, did they have agreements with the Executive teams at each site to pay them these high salaries for an extended period? They should have just paid severance a long time ago and reduced leadership down to once centralized unit. But seems to be the Xerox way to overly complicate things....and deploy a high number of resources in an inefficient manner and take away resources from other areas that actually matter.
This will most likely lead to generic toner and service calls. Joy.
lookout generic toner has never worked fusing and transfer problems galore
The local brand is what gave them success. I do not believe they are going to get rid of a COTG, Comdoc, MRC, Saxon brand name. They are consolidating down to 11 cores, which the movement has already begun. These 11 cores are divisions, which allows 1 President per division saving XBS tremendous salary. Now they are also stripping down cores and transferring service and supplies to Xerox direct, as you can see Xerox announced the X.E.T. program and they recently launched I.W.S. The cores will keep their name and employ sales and sales support analysts. Outside of those 2 teams, I'm not sure who else will stay.
Isn't it well known that they are getting rid of the Cores. XBS is no longer? Who is in the dark thinking that XBS will not go away? Sounds like everyone at a Core....
