Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Still not paying vendors...

BBB still not up to speed on paying vendors $$$
Same with rent, lawsuits.
Services, same. Not seeing broken equipment repaired / replaced ?
Why ?? BBB apparently has the funds. Making the profits look better to the public / shareholders.

Obviously the owner of the property is just threatening the store managers. But I do see owner of our store fed up with BB&B not paying rent. He's tried reaching out to BB&B and was told 4 months ago someone within corporate is handling this and will reach out - he hasn't heard back from them yet. Plus he tells us Target hasn't paid on time why can't we....

they'll have us shut down while they take us to court? No it does not work that way. You need an order from the court BEFORE you can evict . Some of these comments are absurd

Yeah, my store manager is stressed she's mentioned to me that the owner of the property is not happy with us - we haven't paid rent since last Feburary. He keeps threatening that we'll be out by this January.

The owner of the space for our store has already had his layers send paperwork, basically saying if we don't pay our back rent they'll have us shut down during Christmas while they take us to court.
Corporate has not responded to them yet. We're all worried we will be out of a job around Christmas time
