I hear it tracks every single minute, but does it dock if you aren’t by your computer? Even if in a productive aux code? Please explain. Our manager is having us hold off on the LRN’s.

Kronos is micromanaging down to the minute. You cannot punch in or out a minute late or even a minute early or else it becomes a behavioral issue. Lunch is 30 minutes not a minute later than that, and cannot attach a 15 minute break to your lunch. You are paid down to the minute. There is no more leeway, or any understanding.. you have internet issues? Too bad. If your internet is down you have to make up the time it is down for or use pto. It’s anxiety inducing, which is ironic as Allstate “cares” about our mental health.
We were told that overtime would be paid on such occasions however regular overages would be considered a behavioral coaching opportunity and eventually subject to potential UN action and affecting PDS. I would advise saving some ACW and AUX times for such end of the day scenarios.
What about the end of the day and you get stuck on a call. Do they hassle you about OT?

Non-exempt has to use it every workday, to log in, logout for lunch, login for lunch, logout for the day.
Exempt only has to use it to input PTO. Happy to be an exempt employee right now, as Kronos is beyond micromanaging. Yikes.
Only non salary people need to punch
Used it at another company... it’s essentially a “time card” system. You log in and “clock in” to start your shift. Clock out and in for lunch breaks, and out at the end of your shift. We did not need to clock out/in for breaks.
The hassle is... when you make a mistake. Cottonwood out for lunch, get back to your desk and check your email/voicemail, or otherwise get distracted, and forget to clock in (or Friday at 5:00 and you can’t wait to GTFOH, forgetting to clock out.
That is when you need a “Kronos edit”, and managers had to do them at my old job. Managers HATED them. I always tried hard to not have any.
