Barely any posts about layoffs, just commentary about leaders from people who couldn't cut it at NetApp.

10 $hitposts and you get a pacifier to s— on.
I say whine away because it’ll give HR something to do. Seriously though, people whine and beeyotch on here all the time. I honesty believe it stems from the fact NTAP leadership condones candid feedback or the general fear around getting fired. Yes, this site chose a specific name, probably started off with that specific purpose in mind but with this sites true anonymity feature (unlike blind and GD), this is considered a safe place for topics other than layoffs.
So I’ll reiterate, whine away, leadership and HR need to get their unfiltered performance feedback somehow - and I do know executive assistants and certain senior execs actually read this site
Your whining comment is completely in concert with the blind hubris NetApp employees exude. It starts at the top and permeates all the way down to clowns like you. I can only wish that the same disrespect you show to others is heaped upon you when your time comes.
I got laid off in August and based on my coworkers that were let go along with me, it seemed entirely based on getting rid of the most salary with the least head count affected which s—ed for me but makes sense, I guess. I ended up somewhere that I think I'll be happier but it was very stressful to get laid off. I don't think it's appropriate or respectful to call people who are unhappy with the situation whiners or to imply that after this many rounds of layoffs getting impacted is an indicator of poor ability to "cut it".
OP really thinks he/she is at Google lol
F*** off
It's only a couple of noisy whiners who just keep posting the same nonsense. Ignore them. Let them keep up voting their sadness.
“Couldn’t cut it”. Ha! You are working for a commodity storage company. You are not leading cutting edge tech. There is nothing to cut. NetApp will continue its slow road to diminishing profits and irrelevancy since no one acquired it in its prime.
Another newb post.... clueless!
Maybe because this sites name is „thelayoff.com“ ? But just guessing
