“Your taxes will increase under Biden”... that sounds great to me, because first I would need to make over $400k a year in taxable income!

The price per barrel will increase. We’ll be just fine.

Less fracking means you might lose your job or jobs will move overseas, but survivors will benefit from higher prices. Your taxes will increase under Biden

This election was a double-edged sword for oil and gas. Trump’s drill-baby-drill philosophy would further flood the market, keeping commodity prices down. On the other hand, Biden’s impending corporate taxes and environmental regulations will make it equally difficult for companies to be profitable.

On a personal note, my taxes haven’t been noticeably different under red or blue administrations. My healthcare costs nearly doubled when the Affordable Care Act took effect, as employers and employees shouldered the burden of healthcare costs for the lower class.

I’m convinced the political system is set up to perpetuate conflict among the 99%. It’s basically professional wrestling. The plot is more-or-less scripted. The policies will be rolled out to provide the illusion of benefiting one color more than the other. But ultimately, the ultra-wealthy are puppeteering the game. Meanwhile, us ants bicker about what color is better. Kayfabe.

Remember we are going to Win in any environment! That means also under any administration, oh well, we shall see how all that bluff goes with so many other promises and bragging. They will blow another $10B on over budget and poor decisions before yet another re_org.

We probably will have Clean Air and Water acts reinstated. It won't really change anything much, the global demand is down whichever way you look at it. Saudis/Russians are in bed with China so we will continue to compete with them, unless demand changes drastically. The big change is we can blame Biden and democrat's policies, whether they deserve it or not, and feel good about venting on them.

Personally, you probably will benefit from having healthcare that wont bankrupt you in a year.

Great that the great divider will be gone. Oil industry will be fine and country will heal and be much healthier. Time to celebrate. Chevron is a great company that can work with both sides of political spectrum which is a source of pride.
