Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

Don't forget if you were at RJ for more than a year you qualify for ESOP and Profit Sharing

I have an email from HR as well as the documentation in our severance information that tells us we should get ESOP and profit sharing in December with everyone else at RJ. They cannot take that away from us although I am sure someone looked into it. For those that don't remember last year was roughly 5% profit sharing and 2% ESOP. Someone who knows someone (take it was some salt) said that there will be some type of profit sharing and ESOP but not like the last couple years. They are speculating between 2-4% total between the 2. I will be waiting.

Same I will take what I am entitled from RJ after so many years of dedicated service.

Who knows what will happen with the financial world. At times I feel there are too many financial institutions and seems that younger people are not investing with the "older" institutions.

I will take everything I am entitled to from RJ. Hopefully after December I can completely forget about this company. BTW I've heard whispers that RJ wants to be sold.
