Sometimes I have to wonder why are we even open. I'm not complaining - I still have a job that's giving me some measure of security as I look for something else. But even I can see that the numbers don't justify keeping us in business. Are others in a similar position?

Our store hasn’t not met or exceeded a goal by a lot since covid started! It’s crazy!
My store has done amazing during this pandemic. Yes we work our butts off and yes we are running low on inventory. Gun and ammo sales have been booming since February. Many people have joined the great outdoors since Covid. I have been with this store for over 20 years. Even with all the changes I feel blessed to be a part of it.
Our store is supposedly doing well. We don't have cashiers. My department could use 4 more outfitters easily. Minimum wage went up for the state last January but we get few applications, even second job, evening type job seekers. Honestly, I think we may see a recession. Something does not feel right even given the covid situation.
Total sales for our store in first 9 months have exceeded last years 12 month total. Would be higher if the shelves weren't always empty. Then when we do get stock, not enough bodies to put it out or wait on customers. The panic description is very accurate. Guns/ammo keeping the lights on for our store for the past 7 months.
Our Store is breaking last years numbers almost every day. Have been all year long! Guns and ammo are still driving sales when we have them, but most other departments are up considerably also. Our customer base has really changed over the last few years!!!
Sales are all over the place. The huge boost in sales by panicked people loading up on guns/ammo died off a couple months ago. Things are now below last years and projected.
