Ive reverted from reading alot of the news about BBB in the last 2 or so months.
So here’s what’s happening in IT. They are laying us off and moving everything to India. That’s so sad. So now the stores will be calling India for help. Good luck with that. Trying to train them is a disaster. Now they are asking people to stay past December (I’m guessing to help with the Holiday rush). If you stay the will add time to your severance package. How sweet
Each state has different laws about who pays for required work clothing. Check your states labor and wage laws.
New dress code for all store workers are coming.They are providing polo styled blue shirts with bed bath & beyond logo on the shirt and you'll have to wear khaki pants with it. They are copying Target & Walmart.
What they are not telling you is these new shirts will be paid be you the store employee- they are taking the cost of the shirts from your paycheck. You'll be paying for 3 shirts upfront and there is a hefty cost if you need another shirt for any reason.

I am curious too..if you worked there 13 years wouldn't you have a former coworker or two that you keep in touch with ? That would fill you in?
