I am a member of the Green team and I have been trained merchandise and care for the plants. I love my job these stores should have their green team properly trained for a beautiful garden area. Proud of my job
Our store has gone GT instead of PP. Our PP were awful. No training, no motivation, no plant knowledge. Happy they’re gone. Waste of money and time. GT will have a learning curve but they can’t be worse.
It’s gonna be a nightmare here on the coast! I’ve been with PP since the beginning of the program as a LM and stepped down to merchandiser. Our store doesn’t do squat and they don’t know how to set tables and the product. We have been approached daily about green team. Told them not interested because they have no clue what the MST’s will do and how many will be hired. Need more than 2 people and right now not working weekends
That’s the bi--h Lowe’s had to have us there 7 days a week. It’s gonna be ugly
Lowes did away with nursery specialist position several years ago.
Plant Partners contract will not be renewed for the 2023 season at Lowes. MST Green team will take over. I have worked for plant partners for 11 years at Lowes. Was told last week that we will no longer be working there.
As a Plant Partner I am so devastated. :(( The Lowes employees will not know how to take care of the plants like us plant partners can!!
The Charlottesville, VA job in 2020 was open because MST Green was not in that region. The 3rd party Vendor. Plant Partners was and is still doing the Live Plant Merchandising. They’re entry found out their contract was not renewed by Lowe’s, therefore will be done by end of Jan 2023. MSTGreen Team is supposed to take over Feb 1, 2023. I that’s makes it company wide now that Lowe’s will be doing their own live good merchandising!
green team taking red vest jobs in garden still?
GV had a conference call yesterday and let the entire company know that December 31st was the last day. They were fired by Lowes.
Well. Costa Farms (Gardenvison) out of Miami and all in the South US will be laid of in December. Lowes is not renewing our contract and the Green team will take over.
Is MST green eventually taking over for the remainder of the country? Will plant partners loose the contract for next year ?
That is the word here in North Texas. I work on the vendor side and was told January is our last month... Lowe’s is not renewing our contract and MST will be taking over setting OSLG. No one at the stores I work at has ANY details as to the transition.
I heard this effected Resource Plus and Garden Vision, has anyone else hear of these changes?
Have Costa merchandisers been terminated at Lowes???
Does anyone know if it is company wide for green team for next year?
There is a lot more then just live plants in OSLG, so Lowe’s associates will handle mulch, block, dirt, fertilizer, lawn chemicals, pots, wheelbarrow, lawn tools, etc, but direct customer to different person when they start asking about a live plant? I see this going Real Well!
MST Green is set to replace all employees in OSLG
It was confirmed last week that next season green team will maintain live nursery and all service vendors will be no more.
I did, I seen the position open and was wondering the same thing.
Anybody else notice there's a position called Sales Associate - Plant Lead/Nursery Specialist currently posted at the Charlottesville VA location? How does this come into play with the MST Green Team?
What is MST Green?
