How about stop wasting money on new visual collateral and put hours back into the stores!! We could have used last years Christmas collateral that we were told to hold onto all year! All of that money wasted on update Christmas, updated pant department, BOPIS collateral and other visual updates is totally unnecessary right now. Especially when you just receive it on October 25th and they want you to have it up by November 6th?! Someone in corporate doesn’t know the Reality in stores.. Christmas Visual this year is way too time-consuming!! Belk should’ve taken those dollars and put back into Payroll hours for associates at store level!! You can’t run a store on a skeleton crew with the HIGH expectations that corporate is expecting without payroll!! Who the heck has time or the hours to put all of it together? Christmas visual is not even going to get done due to pulling what visual is left to do fulfillment, unloading trucks, processing the merchandise, ringing registers and waiting on customers on sales floor. It’s just not going to happen!

Agreed, part-timers are back but some only work 2 or 3 days a week maximum. Also visual gets no help in my store anyway. I don't understand how that's even possible tbh
