WFH was never across the board. A lot of hardliners.
I was WFA in the Canary islands when a canary flew up my hooha. I cranked out some outstanding ideas. It was the best year of my life
Hard Reality is that maybe you are being told no, when others are being told yes simply because your boss is trying to push you out.
and they love that you are frustrated by it obviously !
"it has worked" is a bit of a stretch.
remember that Sabre is plagued with mediocre middle management.
WFH works if the manager knows what staff are doing and what/when people are supposed to deliver.
most managers are clueless. resulting in staff wasting work hours on personal stuff.
Ridiculous feedback. Sabre has had people wfh for years and it has worked. Why would it be any different going forward. Your reactions are disappointing.
It's common sense that there would be some restrictions. With the leadership positive attitude to remote work, managers will need a darn good reason to allow 100% remote for some employees and not others. Keep your chin up and stay optimistic.
OP here: The red tape refers to it's all situational whether you get In-Office, Mixed or Remote and when and where you can work remotely if it has tax consequences etc. Your manager or his or her manager can also override your work type preference.
Well le me tell ya somethin' brother! What you gonna do when the VP Total Rewards comes after you?
Pardon my ignorance, but what Wrestling Federation for America has to do with Sabre lay-offs?
Another cluster fa rollout from incompetent VP ttl rwds
yet another post that makes a claim without providing any explanation or evidence

please tell me it isn't so.
What do you mean?
