I was in a meeting and was told by my boss to disconnect. I was then called by HR and in a very short meeting, I was told my services would not longer be a fit for the company.
I guess I am happy to know and not bite my finger nails all week.

Sorry to hear that! I heard calls were starting on Wednesday. Sounds like your boss pulled the trigger early maybe on his own. Kind of rude though, if you ask me, to tell you to disconnect from a call just like that when I am guessing your last day wasn't the same day? A friend who has good resources told me exits will start the beginning of November. Houston will be a bloodbath.
