After 158 years no Santa in nyc store. (Prolly cost cutting avoiding lawsuits over Covid ) so all malls are following no Santa a big draw for holiday. The gap is also closing 350 gap / banana republic stores only in malls. Malls seem like a think of the past. We haven’t even got to Amazon go and Amazon drones and street go -karts delivery Now think of your job and how the biz around will change rapidly in 6 months. 5g was needed to get drones to work correctly. Ring camera just introduced a drone security camera that fits around your house. (Ring is owned by Amazon ). Macy’s sign up to door dash Can’t compete with 2 hour delivery. My point is. If Macy’s is turning stores into full full ment centers. You don’t need a sales/captain manager. Or a operation or a store manager. You need grunts to do orders. Walk in traffic will keep going south . My job I predicted will go. Is captains / operation/ leads you also didn’t take the package and sign up for these new titles which released the company from any prior contracts to avoid lawsuits. You signed up to be let go in the near future.

Of course there’s no Santa. Children cannot sit on his knee while social distancing. Lol it is certainly sad but it’s for the best with covid around.
