Thread regarding Belk layoffs

temporary help/ “bringing back furloughs” smokescreen

Don’t let this smokescreen of hiring “elves” and bringing back $10/hr furloughs back create the illusion that belk is now doing well, because it’s not. It is by far in the worst shape of any American department store chain, JC Penney, Kohl’s, and Macy’s included.

You mean you haven't figured out how to run a register with ten people lined up(several without masks), help customers in shoes, help customers in menswear and go find a missing shoe in kids cause someone wants these but can't find but one in the box ...all at once.
Somebody needs to tell the customers it's all self service now cause they remember the Belk of a month ago where they could find help.

I don't see how this place can stay in business much longer. It is horrible going to work. Too much expected of the minimal staffing.
