I got the axe despite posting fairly good numbers. An LDU adjuster in my mco has a wall of red consisting of claims that haven't even been touched since June and said adjuster made the cut. Maybe that person did good on the assessment? I'm not sure how that assessment was supposed to work, would you rather stab your dog or suffocate your cat? Pick one. I sometimes hate myself, or I love to sniff flowers even though I have a terrible pollen allergy.... lol

Can we please put a stop to all this talk about the assessments?? Many on this message board have seen the light and get it, but so many still believe the company BS that this played any part in their selection process. You think the Lakers would ask Lebron James to take a personality test to decide if he’s worth keeping?? No. They may, however, decide he’s not worth retaining at the cost ( i.e Tom Brady and the Patriots)
Can you do the job and what do we have to pay you to do the job? That’s what a company looks at. Yes, we may have an all-star making 50K, but next year we can replace him or her with someone we’ll pay 35K, and they’ll be doing the same job. Don’t kid yourselves if you think this about anything else, such as “would you rather” personality questions or how adept you are at solving puzzles
Do they know someone important? What’s their demographic background? Some are able to get away with anything
I am also an LDU adjuster. I have a co-worker who consistently hangs up on customers who gets to stay along with 3 new hires from January and February who are safe with no prior claims experience. I have been with the company for a couple years, consistently a meets and exceeds employee who was asked to mentor and train the new employees. I am asked in huddles to share what it is I do that results in my highest in the unit metrics. I was chosen as a trainer for the new LAT program by my RCL twice since it’s rolled out. I was told Wednesday at 9 months pregnant I’m no longer a part of the new Allstate under their “transformative growth.”
It’s a psychological test, look at it like this “frustrated in large groups” likely means you’re a follower/won’t speak up, if you’re “bossy” likely means you are a leader/take charge. That’s how it was explained to me at least. The ball game was more of efficiency, intelligence test I think. They use these to build a profile and see if you will fit in the “new Allstate” and don’t release results because it would probably be very upsetting to some and they could even claim discrimination. I’m not saying any of this is the right way to do things though
The assessment was a lie.
I think I know which office this poster has referred too. I understand your confusion.
Why downvote? My example questions were extreme but every bit as stupid as some of the assessment questions. I sometimes feel discouraged in large groups vs I can sometimes be bossy, how do you even decide between such ridiculous options?
