is it me or does the pledge to funnel 100 million out of the company instead of using those funds to save jobs at a tough time wreak of narcissism?

Yeah, that's not good. Prioritizing virtue signaling over your own employees. Not good. I feel bad for my friends and former colleagues at Cisco. That is wrong. I left last year.
I think it all depends on if they truly think the money will better the world. At the end, who will associate that money with their names instead of Cisco. I doubt many. Hell, people probably won't even know it happened in 1 year.
Absolutely. Before they paid $500 mil. Horrible company.
