Belk is now in the process of hiring Christmas help or "elves" as Belk calls them in the memo. Hopefully they willl bring back the furloughs before hiring temp elves.

belk pays some of the lowest pay rates in the industry. even their store manager and stm salaries are below the average mark. laughable
If they’re hiring at $10.25, I’m tempted to quit and have them rehire me.
