It doesn’t matter if you fill it out or not chevron has already decided what they intend to do. They announced a massive staff reduction prior to the purchase and have been going through the multiple rounds of employees applying to keep their jobs. Within two years 90% of the legacy noble staff will quietly disappear.

Laziness. It’s easier just to send the list to everyone, why else be so specific.

Considering most of HR and CC will be jobless in a month, can you blame them for not caring?

I’m an hourly, non-exempt employee and I received the email requesting “salaried, exempt” employees to complete the talent profile. Why did I receive this if I’m not in the demographic specified? Obviously HR knows which employees are salaried vs hourly. Did they not provide the correct list to Corp Comm? Or did Corp Comm simply get lazy and send the email en masse to every single employee, regardless if they fit the criteria? Incompetence or laziness, whichever, not a good look. But I doubt any of them care.

If the talent profile is voluntary, there’s a lot to be said for not filling it out and flying under the radar.

They are still salary, they are just non-exempt and yes they get severance too. Maybe chevron isn’t looking into the non-exempt employees. Don’t know why they wouldn’t want their information as well.

I think providing your info is beneficial. I doubt chevron needs additional mediocre middle management and some may be released. This merger may be an opportunity to work for a company that’s not considered a joke in the industry.

As an hourly employee can you get a severance?

Hasn't there been plenty of singing and dancing already? The BS show here has been epic.

It’s probably best to not fill one out. Why give Chevron reason to replace us with one of their own?

Yes... That’s exactly what that means. Very insightful of you.
