There have been more discussions this week and most like more layoffs and/or people disappearing.
Just a heads up.

There will be no extra Christmas help. There will be no extra hours for you.

I find this page humorous and entertaining. With all of the store managers reading this, you'd think they'd answer some of these questions and give their employees accurate infomation. Instead, you get catty responses from wannabees who couldn't get a real managerial postion in a real corporate office.
If the regional manager doesn't hate you and your sales numbers are decent, you store managers have nothing to worry about...
I wonder if I've done enough as- kissing on here.
Are you talking general booksellers or other positions being let go?
Those hags can act like their queens of the store. But anymore cuts and basically they’re “queens” of the Titanic. Hitting the iceberg and just waiting for it to sink.
Whatever this new hell is, I bet those mean girls survive again like c—roaches.
All the managers do in this place is lord over people and play politics. Why would anyone want to be a bookseller when you have no power no say and no future. Where I work I have never seen a manager laid off only the booksellers get canned.
Oh for Fk sake! I just got back and now more of this sh*t?
I really hate this company!
