Heard Fleur.corp will be taking over
Metrolink and Metra like that outfit in
the bay area that runs CalTrain?
Contractors are just so grand to work for.

The early retirement would only applies to the managers, the agreement employees will have to exercise their seniority. With that said, METRA would not offer buyouts to UPRR employees, it would have to come from the UPRR. The UP offered a buyout in 2017, I don't see that happening again. The Commuter Op managers were given a heads up 2 years ago to start looking for another job. The managers that were recently cut were given 1 years salary, pro rated bonuses and unused vacation time. It's a fact Vena wants to unload METRA/Commuter Ops, Vena's contract wasn't renewed. So, the question is, will the atmosphere change when he leaves. Let's hope so....
UP metra employees are in trouble. They're under the impression they'll be blindly folded into Metra, they are wrong. Metra uses less guys per train than UP.
Oh please let me go early!
You are correct layoffs are coming and the question is when.
Won’t happen again with UP. Why should they do this when they can just cut as they are doing currently,
