I feel like im a soldier who just witnessed his seargant murder 1/2 of his own men, and with the very same hand, wants to shake my hand for surviving the m—acre. This was very cruel to inflict this type of pain on your INTERNAL customers for months. We've watched our brothers and sisters work their a##es off to get to the top, only to be pushed over the cliff with a rigged parachute and you want us to trust you? I'm deeply saddened and hurt by this entire process. This journey has taught me that I've put entirely too much faith in man and not in God. I've lost all respect for this company, so I consider it a paycheck until I am able to do better. I'm truly praying for the ones that were let go, and even harder for the ones that stay.
Sincerely A Fallen Soldier

Enough Call of Duty keyboard warrior.
Truly thanking you for your service, Outraged. Sure, company s—s, but OP is deadass wrong to compare this job to to what you must have gone through. Comparing putting your LIFE on the line and watching your comrades sacrifices for this godforsaken country is EVERYTHING compared to this worthless company and job. Parents served in military as well. God bless our soldiers.
Comparing a soldier dying serving his/her country especially at the hands of his/her sergeant so sick and demented and you need help if that’s the way you feel. And I’m very VERY offended by the comparison seeing how I served in the military and have lost brothers of mine right in front of my eyes while I helplessly stood by under a barrage of bullets and shrapnel.
I am so sorry ... it is like losing family for us in my SCO .... Claims are our Partners
Yes layoffs happen. That doesn't mean they're good for everyone involved. Imagine dedicating 35 years of your career to a company and they lay you off once you're in the age range where it's hard to find employment all based off of a candy crush puzzle.
Whatever happened to loyalty? I get it. Business is business and business is not personal. I truly get that. But there are many workers who barely skate by who should be laid off before the workers who are the first ones there everyday, ot every day even though they're salary, working through their PTO etc.
In the middle of a pandemic no less. As if it would destroy their bottom dollar to give the economy some time to recover before laying off so many people? As if the ceo couldn't afford a 2 percent pay cut for the time being until businesses are going as normal again?
Not to mention the employees having to homeschool their kids and work their a off for a position they're not even sure if they'll still have at the end of the day.
It's just sick. Allstate is handling this HORRIBLY. Even if they weren't, it's fd to not have compassion for someone losing their job.
See a shrink man.
Someone call a WAHmbulance. Layoffs happen nothing is forever not even life. People should open their eyes and realize life’s too short to be so angry or upset or hurt about losing a job when millions of people have it much worse.
I feel your pain brother. It is disheartening. I'm one who is considered safe (at this time!) but the gravity of the situation hit me like a ton of bricks when I think of my coworkers who have grown into family members over the years (and as you said soldiers) because we often spent more time together busting our tails then we spent with our true flesh and blood, and to see the pain and heartache that they are going through because of this layoff in the middle of a pandemic is sad. I know that this too will pass, and the sun will come out tomorrow, but it s—s right now. As you said, our faith has to be in God. Prayers to all those affected!
