I mentioned behavior to bosses that could be classified as bullying in hindsight. Stuff like being yelled at in front of your manager for something false. I was told it was nothing. In other companies that behavior would not have been tolerated. If you wonder what needs to change that is.

Here’s something from Warren Buffett:
I only work with people I like. If I could make $100 million with a guy who causes my stomach to churn, I'd say no.
I wonder what kind of worker you retain if you ignore people wanting to work with people they like.
If it’s your boss—-unless he punches you in the face in front people who will actually confirm that it happened, the company won’t do anything. I’ve been yelled at by people who had no business yelling at anybody, and no one cared about that either.
Leave if u can, PZ is the ultimate bully, so you efforts with HR will be futile. Unless you want a target on your back for a RIF soon, just stay under the radar and collect a check till u can get a new job
I hate to say it, but the only option is to go to HR and let the process handle it. They will investigate and follow a process to determine next course of action.
So all the people saying to fight back or tell them to F off, would that advice stay the same if this was from someone way more high ranking than me? Because it was. And yeah I would tell myself not to be so thin skinned if it was just me but it wasn’t.
Tell the person to f’ off to their face and they leave you alone. It works!
Stop being a victim and grow a pair...this right here is what is wrong with our society.
"He hurt my feelings"......fight back or don't be so thin skinned.
Maybe stand up to them? Call them out for their behavior? Maybe you'll earn some respect.
This is something you go to HR about. If your manager doesn’t take care of it, and things get worse with that employee or something, you’re at least going to want to start the documentation. But, if others are complaining, they may already have a file on him.
Often times matters like this are taken out of the managers hands. He could be let go without the manager really having a say.
After I complained I got told by others, without even telling them what happened, that the same person who bullied me mistreats others.
