Many let go in IT, on the already-understaffed “Keeping the Business Running” side.
22% of the workforce to be cut today.. It should be no surprise that these layoffs are occurring since our CEO mentioned in a few months ago, and COVID has significantly impacted the business. The business has been suffering even before COVID hit, because HMH employees probably remember the round of layoffs in october of 2019.
