I was in a store the other day and I could not believe my eyes!!! It is looking like the end of bbby. The workers are all so overwhelmed .. how are they suppose to keep up. It’s so sad to see what has become of this company . I hope this new CEO makes a turn around but to be honest I just don’t see it happening. I hope I am wrong!! Bed Bath and Beyond, these days runs a close second place to Dollar Tree!!!!!! Low pay, terrible customer service, and very poor management. I would bet that a large number of comments on this site are from employees who are on the clock hiding in a stockroom or taking a 20 minute break in the bathroom! I had terrible nightmare last night... I dreamt I was still employed there!!!!!

The original poster isn't claiming to only be a customer. I don't know why its such a big deal, theyre only trying to give their perspective on what they saw.
I think the point is the post is probably fake. It is from an employee/former employee pretending to be a customer or someone who just happened to be in the store and just happened to somehow find this board.
Yes it is a public board but you would have to search for it and why would you? And why would you end with Health comes first? It is so obviously fake.

I did not mean to offend anyone, I am talking about after the layoffs, the company doesn't pay enough for the work you are expecting to do
I take offence to the no reason to work hard comment. I had to cover the rear ens of lazy ft vets ar bbby and so did others. Stop thinking of yourselves as model employees because at our store, very few full timers were competent and a few were along for the ride or pulling off scams on the company.

That is what happens when you laid off 2800 of us full timers. Trying to fill good hard working people with low pay part timers right before the holidays good luck. And now no real motivation bc full time is gone, no reason to work hard.
Massive layoffs just occurred. Have to get more money for the share holders and CEO obviously.
