This event is beyond layoffs the scope is requiring consolidation of departments. It is affecting director level blue badges and executives. PW birthed a lot of executives in the last reign of ladue when 10,000 workers exit the building you don’t need as many bosses to make sure orders are followed. I never really saw one YP ever think of something original as a group it was top down . instructions. Except when they get the pink slip they gotta call for an Uber because the company car stays on Pratt property.

I started blasting my resume out as soon as they did the first round of cuts and took 10% of our salary. Wouldn't be so bad if we weren't also hearing about Greg Hayes & Friends giving themselves nice multi million dollar bonuses.
I mentally checked lout once the 1st round of layoffs were announced of 8,000.
The company is so rich, that it makes money by accident, the lay-offs and report a PROFIT to Raytheon.
I think it will be done by oct 15. Need to finalize the list and then figure out how to re-org all the groups that got cut
