I'm just speechless at the online business belk has. it makes zero sense. A customer orders 6 Kim Rodgers T Shirts at $5.99 each and they ship from 6 different stores, each package costs atleast $5.00 to ship, so they spent $30 on shipping for a $36 sale, god help us all.

i have enjoyed raping belk during these crazy sales the last few months. They are giving this stuff away.
Of course most of these items will be returned. Then Belk will pay the shipping and labor costs on them again for the next order. When or if they ever make it back to the sales floor. Returns coming out of quarantine are backed up really bad, We have like 12 z-bars packed full top and bottom and several bins full still sitting in returns that should already be out.
How can we afford a fleet full of personal shoppers running around chasing clearance items for customers while kissing off actual shoppers by having one or two registers open for the folks who actually used to enjoy shopping before we made it excruciatingly painful.
Agreed. I frequently use my belk rewards bucks to order clearance underware or socks. They arrive in separate packages sometimes one pair per package. I don't get how this is profitable.
